Most grow hoods are very large, requiring supplemental ventilation in order to operate safely and reduce excessive heat accumulation. Often it is necessary to provide additional cooling/ventilation to the grow space or residence to maintain proper ambient temperatures. Making the additive energy consumption and maintenance of these systems very costly.

The iGroGreenz Compact Metal Halide/High Pressure Sodium LED Hybrid Grow Hood is an energy efficient high intensity grow hood that requires a fraction of the space required by conventional grow hoods and produces considerably less heat making them ideal for professional home growers. It is scientifically proven that heat from any light source is wasted energy.

The iGroGreenz Compact Metal Halide/High Pressure Sodium LED Hybrid Grow Hood when paired with an iGroGreenz lamp and electronic Metal Halide/High Pressure Sodium ballast (Sold Separately), is specially engineered to convert a greater amount of energy into usable light for photosynthesis. This amounts to increased lighting performance with less wasted energy/heat allowing our grow hoods to compete with fixtures up to three times their size. The compact fan less design allows our hybrid grow hoods to be used anywhere making them ideal for residential and commercial growing applications. Incorporating specially designed high power LED’s, it is now possible to maximize growth and flowering regardless of whether you are running Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium Lamps. The LED’s are adjustable allowing you to angle them based on your systems needs and requirements. Ideal for low maintenance systems accepts up to 400 Watt Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium lamps.
